Grublin lets you flag nine allergens and intolerances (tree nuts, peanut, shellfish, fish, dairy, egg, gluten, soy, sesame) and re-checks each recipe against them, but no automated check is perfect. Always read every ingredient and product label yourself before cooking. If you have a serious allergy, do not rely on Grublin. See our Terms and how dietary rules work.

Open the Preferences tab. Choose your allergens and intolerances, your dietary style (vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, halal, kosher, low-carb, low-fat, high-protein, keto, low-FODMAP, paleo, low-sugar, low-salt), and type any ingredients you simply don't like. They apply to every recipe from then on, including recipes from a photo or a craving.

On the Cook tab, tap Super Grub and take a photo, or choose one from your library. A photo of ingredients becomes a list you can confirm or edit. A photo of a finished dish becomes a description Grub turns into a recipe you can make at home. Scanning is free and photos are not stored. More on photo to recipe.

You get a set number of free recipes each day. After that you can watch a short ad to unlock another, or go Premium for unlimited, ad-free cooking. Photo scanning does not count towards the daily allowance.

Manage or cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. To restore Premium on a new device, use "Restore purchases" in the app.

Your saved recipes and preferences live on your device: clear the app's data or uninstall to remove them. To delete the data tied to your device on our servers (your usage record and any subscription status), email hello@grublin.ai and we'll remove it. See our Privacy Policy.
